This lovely three bedroom, two and a half bathroom, log cabin is so cozy you won't want to leave. The two King-sized beds and two Twin beds will accommodate six guests. This cabin features an equipped gourmet kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, including an espresso machine. It has central heating and air-conditioning, along with ceiling fans throughout the unit, and a stone gas fireplace in the living area. There is a nicely sized laundry room with a washer and dryer for you to use. The master bedroom includes a King-sized bed. One guest room includes a King-sized bed, and the other guest room includes two Twin beds. The master bedroom and bathroom is located on the main floor and offers handicap shower rails and easy access. Enjoy the delightful mountain weather on the large decks or relax on the screened in porch. Four TVs and private Wi-Fi is available for you to enjoy. Non-smoking. No pets allowed. THE GARAGE AND ABOVE GARAGE APARTMENT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RENTAL

We plan a family trip to Banner Elk & Sugar Mountain at least once a year, we love it there!!! We loved the front yard on this rental and even had a family of deer running and playing and a big ol bear wander by. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of this rental was seriously lacking to say the least. We figured during “these times” (COVID) the rental/cleaning companies would take extra care to make sure guests feel safe & comfortable. After our 12 hour drive with a 5 year old, my husband & grandparents in the same vehicle I also had to re-clean the kitchen, dishes, bathrooms and wash all of the bedding because I was so uncomfortable that they were not cleaned properly! I had brought some of my own cleaning supplies (Clorox wipes, antibacterial soap, Lysol, laundry detergent. Etc) by the time I was finished it was passed dinner time and I had used up almost all of my own personal cleaning supplies within the first day. (Couple examples: mold filled cooking pot, dirty hand prints the entire way up the stair well & in the twin bedroom, random smears, food splatters & boogers on walls and there obvious stains on the master bedding & extra blanket). I will say, I did call and leave a vm and emailed with pictures for the rental company who did call me the next morning but I was so infuriated and grossed out that I opted not to answer because I didn’t want to say anything I’d feel bad about & possibly ruin the vacation more. I had already cleaned practically the entire house and washed all of the bedding so, what was the point of upsetting myself again or having them send out their “cleaning” crew again. I do not blame the owners for this issue but I do blame the rental company. I hope they have been checking on their “cleaning” crews work because we will never go through that rental company again and will use one we have previously used numerous times before and were happy with.
