This is our 4th trip to Sugar for our family vacation and the bungalow we usually rent was booked, so we decided to try another one. This slopesider bungalow experience was not as good as the other. The place was not cleaned very well at all. It was spot cleaned, not deep cleaned. The cobwebs all over the ceilings were a true testament to the lack of cleaning. The 1st floor was an absolute icebox, even the provided space heaters didn't make a dent in the cold. The top floor was very spacious for our party of 5, so that's a plus. There is only 1 trash can in the place and there was only 2 hooks to hang jackets, ski clothes, etc. The fireplace was a great necessity and saved us from freezing, since the heat couldn't catch up from the outside temps. Overall, I would not choose this place again nor recommend it to friends. I do however recommend using the Realty company. Renting from them is very easy, convenient, and professional.

We loved staying here for a long ski weekend. Perfect location right to Oma’s Meadow and to the lodge. Can’t beat it. The wood burning stove was a MUST as the bedrooms did get quite cold at night. Easy check in annd check out. Definitely need 4WD if it’s snowy, the hill up to the hut was steep and icey. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

We went skiing this Thanksgiving and absolutely loved this unit. It was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The temperature dropped over the past few days, but the best part was how warm the unit stayed, with consistent kitchen and shower water temperatures. When we arrived late at night, it was very dark, and we took a wrong turn. After calling RRR, the business owner personally found us and guided us to the correct unit. We truly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back.

The doors on this unit are coded locks now so no more stops by the office to get a physical key. Me, my wife, and three teenage sons stayed here for a ski weekend and it was everything we hoped it would be.

The location was by far the best part. I normally don’t do reviews because I don’t like complaining.. The house was fine, little dated but most places are in the mountains.. The issue I have is the house was cold the entire stay, I’m guessing the unit couldn’t keep up with cold temperatures.. The downstairs was extremely cold so nobody could sleep there.. The thermostat always stayed at 64 degrees even if it was set on 70.. The overall stay was good but needs a better source of heat.

We could not have asked for a better location, just steps away from the slopes. This was one of the best family vacations we’ve ever taken. The house was great, other than having very little in the kitchen but food lion is only a mile away or so, so it wasn’t hard to accommodate.

These little slope siders aren't particularly luxurious, but the ease of walking across the road to the slopes is unbeatable. Everyone can come in and out for lunch or breaks so easily. This particular unit is a little dark though with very few lamps, and you'll need to bring basics like dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, etc. We had a couple of college kids sleeping in the bunkbeds and they weren't very comfortable, but the toilet propped on a wooden box in the laundry room made them laugh. The mattresses on the real beds were not great either though. Despite a list of minor complaints and things I'd bring along next time, I would definitely rent this unit again. We were cozy and had a great view of the slopes and a wonderful time.

We really liked the location . There were a more steps than expected and the property is in needs of a few repairs. My son could not hook up his video game to the TVs . The only tv that was hooked up and usable was in the living room . Master bedroom needs a new mattress. I would give an over all rating 2.5 out of 5 . This could really be a great facility if the owners could put some money back into the property.

It was everything and more for a mini vacation.

house was well equipped in a good location could use a good dusting throughout but overall very pleased. slopes were in good shape but overcrowded. we will stay again but not on weekend

The house was fine smaller that the picture shows. the sheets on the sofa bed wasn't changed, we found some crumbs when we opened, some dishes and silverware were dirty, one of the blanket was falling apart, internet wasn't working until next day afternoon. Beside that we enjoyed the place
