We take an annual family ski trip with our 14 and 10-year-olds and always try to stay ski-in/ski-out at Bee Branch complex for easy parking and a short walk down the steps and over a walkway to the ski lift. Bee Branch 39 was a great place to stay for a family of 4. Our kids enjoyed the bunk beds (double-sized beds), and the mattresses were comfy. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated and very clean. Appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked and had new appliances, and that the living room furniture was comfy and accommodated a family of 4 to spread out and relax in front of the fire. One very small con, and only mentioning for others to know in advance: the washer and dryer are a combo appliance, so it took over 4 hours to run a medium load of winter laundry (two hoodies, sweats, thermals, etc.).
