Skyleaf D14 was a great last minute find even if the skiing/gear rental process at Sugar was a little less than optimal. The kitchen was well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. Figuring out the thermostat was a little wonky and the climb in/out was challenging in the slick conditions.

Loved our stay here. Clean and homey. The view is fabulous! We arrived after hours and info packet was waiting for us with no problem. Our first morning we discovered we had no hot water but rental company responded quickly and we were good to go in just a few minutes. Great location and an easy scenic drive to everywhere we went. We had an incredible trip with visits to Grandfather Mountain, Elk River Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, The Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, and of course a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway with a picnic lunch. We also got in 18 holes of disc golf at Ashe County Park. The High Country Disc Golf Course there was well maintained with beautiful views. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony every morning with that awesome view and loved being able to grill steaks one night and burgers another for dinner in. We had enjoyable meals out at The Pedalin' Pig, Bella's Italian, and Stick Boy Kitchen. Celebrating our 43rd Wedding Anniversary couldn't have been better. Can't wait to return!!

Our family of four had a great stay at Anita and Thad's condo. The condo was perfect, very well-maintained and had everything you could need for a vacation stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and games for the kids. Beautiful views, as advertised. Incredible attention to detail on everything a family could need to enjoy their stay on Sugar and in the Blue Ridge area in general, including local restaurants, breweries, hikes and other activities. We will be back!

During an impromptu trip to Banner Elk, we were lucky enough to find this condominium available to us. It was exactly as described and perfect for a three or four day getaway! It is very well appointed and there is nothing that you will need that you don’t have supplied to you. We will definitely be back and hope to stay in this unit again!

This was probably one of the cleanest and most updated condo I've stayed at near Sugar Mountain. It was a very quiet and peaceful area around the condo. The condo also held its heat well which was great for the cold nights. Parking was relatively easy and convenient. My only complaint is that they duvet in addition to the pillows are old and have a strong smell. It may be best that the owner replace them in the near future.

We are sorry to hear there were issues with the bedding, this unit has brand new bedding that is less than a year old. Our housekeeping inspector and previous guests have not noticed an odor to the bedding but we will be getting them professionally laundered as a precaution.
