Slopesider 32

I wanted a simple and convenient place to stay at Sugar, and this is exactly what I got. It was very easy to walk to the slopes, ski down to lift, and not hassle with parking or tickets.

Great location on the slopes!! Based on previous reviews, I was hoping for a similar overall experience. The home needs more TLC and appeared to have been rushed to clean between guests. It needs a full deep clean to include tub jets, oven, sinks, porch, etc that visibly look like it hasn’t been touched in several months. Pillows, sheets and extra covers in the closets don’t appear to be regularly changed, cleaned and maintained. Kitchen is fully stocked with any cookware you could need. There is no pantry space though. Overall we had a great time.

We had a great stay at this house on the ski slopes! It was well maintained—comfortable and cozy. The location was excellent, just steps from the slopes. One tip: definitely make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle, since the driveway is on a slope, and we needed 4-wheel drive to get up. Other than that, it was a perfect location—highly recommend!

Slopesider 32 was perfect for our needs. We were able to easily access the slopes and ski lodge from our unit. The unit itself was clean and well equipped. Three of the 4 bedrooms easily accommodated two people. The 4th bedroom was quite small and most suited for a single person or two children. We would definitely consider renting this unit again.

On the postive: Great overall. GREAT location. Very clean, comfortable. I’d be right back there today if I could be! Suggestions: Replace/repair glass doors, update heating/gas log system or provide clear instructions for setting. -Dishwasher handle is broken.
-Crack in the window by the stairs
-Both screen doors need replaced/repaired. They wouldn’t stay closed. And the one downstairs looked bent.
-Bathtub jacuzzi jets upstairs need deep cleaned. It started leaking out brown stuff after I bathed the kids. (We didn’t use the jets)
-trim around the fireplace was broken and kept falling off.

Slopesider 32 was a wonderful experience for our family ski trip. It allowed us to experience skiing right away and to relax after a good day/night of skiing.

We have stayed with RRR rentals four times now and the experience is always enjoyable. Slopesider 32 was just right for us to enjoy a long weekend of convenient access to the slopes. Each of our three boys had a bedroom downstairs while my wife and I had our space upstairs. The downstairs entry door and ski gear area were great for putting clothes and gear on and getting everything off without having to climb the outdoor stairs. The furnishings and overall feel were very comfortable. One item that can be improved is clearer instruction on how to operate the baseboard heat switches in various parts of the house. Some of the dials were not readable (on/off, high/low) and we weren't sure which ones controlled which units, so it was trial and error for a bit.

The house had a great view for our family. Parking was good until it rained and washed half of the driveway out. I understand lots of stuff still being repaired due to storm and drain repairs. No problem. A few recommendations for the house:
New pots and pans. Many pans were so rusted we could not cook with them. Most pans in cabinet were dirty with crumbs.
Provide a hair dryer. We had to go buy one.
Mattress pads on beds would be nice.
We had a great stay and the reality company was very nice and helpful. Thank you.

It’s become a family tradition to come spend Christmas in the mountains. So glad we found these slopesiders. Enjoyed the space and the view is amazing. Convenient for my snowboarders. Walk right across the street to get on the slopes. Pllenty of kitchen stuff, bed stuff. Need games and a baby gate for the top of the stairs.
