Spacious accommodation for families and groups, well stocked kitchen, lots of TVs, nice bathrooms! The only feedback I would have temperature downstairs varied greatly by room. One room would be hot while another would be cold. But it was a very enjoyable stay and we would love to come back.

Great home, very nicely remodeled. Only gaps are: bedrooms get very hot when doors closed to common areas...the temperature sensors are in common areas, but not in bedrooms. Also, common areas are all completely exposed to those outside on the slopes, as there are no blinds/curtains. This is problematic when the bright lights from the mountain are on the entire time it is dark (from dusk to dawn) when making snow. Extremely bright in all common areas of the house.

This was our second year spending a long weekend in sugar express and the house itself is great because you can sit in warmth watching your family ski. However this year we ran into a situation we're just a day or so before I rental began the furnace acted up.
So where last year we had consistency this year there were times we had no heat and there were times when the furnace ran without being able to control how much heat it put into the house. Fortunately, the weather was very cold so it seldom got too hot but did get chilly. During those times we had to turn the oven on to stay warm.
The house itself is very nice but there is only parking for two cars and that is all the rental agency permits. We especially like the fire pit that is in the parking lot right by the slope so you can sit by a warm fire and watch people ski passed.

As for parking, there is room for only 2 vehicles at this house. Parking is not based on the rental agency's permission. We do offer overflow parking below our office for any extra vehicle that you may have. Any time you have an issue with the heat not working properly, please contact our office. We can provide alternative heat sources. Sugar Express is a beautiful unit, and we hope you come again!

Sugar Express was perfect for our family gathering of 8! Located right on the slope was very convenient for skiing out our door. The cozy kitchen/family room with huge picture windows looking out on the slope was entertaining with skiers flying by. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Can’t wait to return. Steep driveway. We were glad we had a 4WD on the icy days.

The home is in a perfect location. We have stayed in Slopeslider 13 many times before for the convenience to get on and off the slopes,but our family has outgrown that home, and this home was the perfect fit. This home was beautifully designed and furnished on the inside with plenty of space for us and our 5 children. The only suggestion I would have is to put blinds or curtains on the front windows facing the slopes. There is no privacy and when the lights turn on at nights its almost impossible to enjoy sitting on the living room or kitchen because the lights or beaming into your face. Also, there might be an issue with the thermostat or HVAC as the temperature would not stay as set. The heat would get up to 90 degrees and not turn off. Had to keep the AC on in the winter to keep it at 73 degrees. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Visited Sugar Mountain for Oktoberfest. The house and location were great, with a phenomenal view even in the off season. The house setup was perfect for four of us.

Thank you so much. The SS was great.. loved the location. This is our 20th year staying on Sugar and have been in several SS, this one was the greatest. Of course the weather helped make it great. The only worry is if there was a lot of ice and snow, would parking be an issue?
