Sugar Mountain High is a luxury mountain log home that sits on 2 plus acres on beautiful Sugar Mountain. No expense has been spared in making this home one that offers everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful relaxing vacation. There are amenities galore! Children can run and play in the large fenced in back yard or they can take a hike through the woods while the adults enjoy the fire pit or take a nice leisurely soak in the large hot tub. You can play video games in the loft, play a game of shuffleboard or get your popcorn ready and watch a movie in the private movie theater. If that doesn't suit you, you can relax in the private sauna; want to get away from the crowd, enjoy a game of pool or just relax on the comfy sofa watching TV in the exquisitely decorated pool room. This home offers you hassle free access to the winter activities on Sugar Mountain. There is a free shuttle pick-up location within a very short distance of the house that will take you to the ski resort without you having to fight the traffic. The shuttle will bring you back to the home as well.

We had a great stay. Home was beautiful, clean and a great location. We went with another family and had plenty of room to spread out! Gates on the porches were great for toddlers. The fireplace was amazing and we all slept well!! Will definitely return!

This home was amazing! All of the amenities kept our family occupied our entire seven days-when we went exploring the area. It’s so well equipped, a gorgeous lot, clean, and in a very convenient location! All the beds were very comfortable and bathrooms are huge. No expense is spared here! We hope to visit again for Christmas time!

We had 5 Adults and 4 children stay at this cabin. It was very spacious, clean, and had lots to offer. We enjoyed playing pool, shuffle board, the hot tub, and the theatre (even though a few of the chairs were broken). We played cards out on the deck & enjoyed seeing deer, birds, a chipmunk, squirrels & a groundhog. The kitchen was well stocked. We all loved the cabin. The painting on the walls in the LR & DR is amazing. The bathrooms were very spacious,clean, and had great showers. The views from the 2 Master Suite's tubs were beautiful.

We cannot put into words what a wonderful week we had. This home is amazing We spent everyday in the beautiful
Kitchen whipping ihp amazing food when usually we only make reservations! The hot tub, the movie room, shuffle board and did not even make it to the large pool table room. So much to do. And we loved the buckets of food for the deer and birds- we had many of both along with a bear who visited us on day 1- what an amazing treat!! The location was great - golf two courses, grandfather mtn, blowing rock to shop, ski lift rides -all in 5 days We definitely recommend and hope to return. Janet and Jaime at resort rentals were wonderful to work with. Thank you !!!

Our vacation rental experience was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the mountain atmosphere set the tone—peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by stunning natural views. The crisp mountain air scenery immediately made it feel like a true getaway.
The rental itself was warm and inviting, with comfortable living spaces that made it easy to relax. Large windows and balconies offered beautiful views of the mountains. It was the perfect place to unwind with family.
Location was a huge plus. Being so close to the slopes made it incredibly convenient to go back and forth throughout the day, whether for skiing, snowboarding, or just enjoying the village. Everything felt accessible, yet quiet enough to truly disconnect and enjoy the mountains.
Overall, it was a memorable, comfortable, and relaxing stay—ideal for a winter vacation and a place we’d happily return to again.
